Hello everyone,Its been quite a long time since we really sit down and fellowship with one another, however it will be real soon to get together once again. (: I would like to give a summary on Sunday's service with Doctor A.R Benard. He shared about us, all of us having human desires. Human desires that can either be good and bad which starts with the 3 main factors. 1. Shared Values (Standard by which you live) 2. Core Values (Protects your thinking) 3. Core Purposes (Guides your activities) Core values and purpose are the ingredients to bring structure to our lifes. Values. What are they? It is what we prized, what that is most important to us. It is what we stand strongly for no matter the circumstances are. It is what we are willing to pay the prize for. It is what we consistently willing to sacrifice. Education, Family, Friends, Money etc. What are the things we most and least value? Because what we are in life is the result of our values. Our values guides and shapes our life. Same goes for us individuals, what are our values? We had a small meeting yesterday after fellowship with Dannon, Kenneth, Gillien and myself. We wrote down our individual values and realised mostly all of us have the same values. However, most of our values were priortised differently. We ranked them diffferently thats why sometimes, or mostly everytime we experience conflict between one another. That is the reason why it is hard to plan a successful outing, hard to have prayer meetings and hard to sacrifice our time. But thank God for the Holy Spirit that He has given to us. Through the Holy Spirit we can sort things out with knowledge and wisdom. Through the Holy Spirit we develop patience with one another, understanding one another and the most importantly is loving one another. We came out with a different way to make Hlf more successful, more effective to fufill the Core Purpose, to bring the lost reconcile back to God. We worked out Hlf core values; Relationships first then evangelism. Relationships, there's nothing more to emphasize how important it really is. Everything we do starts from relationships. So from now on, we will have Prayer Conference weekly. Why prayer conference? Its because all of us have our own commitments in terms of church, family, work and studies. Prayer meeting every week will be quite tight for most of us. Prayer Conference is a time to pray for one another, a time to edify one another, a time to ask about each other's life and a time for God. Also we will have Prayer Meeting every 3rd week of the month. It is held only once in a month. I encourage that all of us will go for this. Every meeting is very important. Every meeting is a divine appointment with God. For God to move His hands in a mighty way. Don't ever miss this appointment! Don't miss God. I believe He can't wait to pour out a bagful of wonderful things to us! Let us commit again, Let us love again, Let us reach out again, Let us desire once more, Let us yearn even more, Let us hunger even more, Let us seek even more, Let us lay down our lifes once again. He deserves more than anything because He died for us. So lets do something in return. -Flora Cheng 0 comments - Post a Comment Desperation.

Colossians 2:2:that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, Recently, I just feel that our planned outings have been met with setbacks. Last minute cancellations, friends who just did not reply, things not going according to plans, etc. I asked Father why this is so. I asked Him when shall we see the fruits of our labours? This was what He replied me: Our members are not desperate enough for a revival yet. He already has a miracle in store for us. That miracle is just lying in front of us. Like before, He is just waiting for us. He wants us to grow much more hungry for revival. Much much much more desperate for revival. To do this, we need to do this together as a group. As a family. Working together, wanting together the same thing as one. Our current desperation level is just not enough. We need to work together. He reminded me. Our group is like a metal chain. We are the little individual connected links that make up that chain. Imagine, if one of those links is weak, and it breaks, the whole chain is useless. The chain cannot serve its purpose, it cannot lock things anymore. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Likewise: A church is only as strong as its weakest member. We need to grow together, to encourage one another, to edify, to be there for one another, to make that chain so strong nothing can break it. So that He can bestow upon us His miracles. Amen. -Kennn 1 comments - Post a Comment A warm glass-full of appreciation

Today's baking time was a blessing in disguise. Even though the baking was not a success, I feel I learned alot about how we can improve on our future outings. New insights, new apprehensions, new perspectives. There's lots of stuffs to address the group about. And individually too.We should never forget the purpose of our outings and vision of the group. We are seeking change. What kind of change? A change in our area, specifically, a REVIVAL in our area. But to seek that kind of major change in that direction, firstly, we need to seek a change in ourselves! For how can we change anything if we do not first change ourselves? For now, I really want us to seek a repentance in our attitudes towards God. We say we want to honor God. We say we want to be empty vessels for Him. We say we want to do this thing for Him. We say we want to put Him first in our lives. But when the choice comes between seeking His face in His house of prayer and doing other stuffs, which do we choose? For if we really put Him first, we would put Him at the top of our list of priority. We would seize every chance to pray, seize every chance to see His face, to attend every single prayer meeting, no matter how tired we are, no matter how busy we are, no matter how much we do not feel like praying. I'm sure everyone in the group knows the importance of prayers. Even as His Word says: The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Every single one of us is a church unto ourselves. We are THE church. We are the little walking churches that carry the Holy Spirit. We are mini churches that has the spirit of God in us. When we pray effectively and fervently, it is as powerful as though a whole church of family of Christ is praying. When every single one of us pray, the words that bursts forth from us opens the doors in heavens, and God is able to do the miracles that we are seeking. Do not despise the power of one! One man can change the world, one man can impact the world. Just take a look at Mahatma Gandhi, at Mother Theresa, at Martin Luther King. Just take a look at our Lord Jesus Christ. In His earthly ministry, He, one man, died for all, and saved all. As how one man is able to impact this world, so is one more of us praying adding on to the powers that God is able to move in our lives. There are many things we can sacrifice to God. Our time, our skills, our talents, our enjoyments, our many many other stuffs we can be doing instead. But what's the best sacrifice we can give God? Us. We are the living sacrifices. Let us offer all of us to Him. Put Him first. Give our all to Him. Just as we seek His kingdom first in everything we do, everything else will be added on to us. Let us think again. Think about whether our actions show if we really put God first. Just as faith without works is dead, so is saying without doing. I really hope and beseech every single one of us to attend every prayer meeting we have together as a group. To grab every opportunity to seek His face. To seize every chance to pray. To move the heavens with our every prayer. To deny the devil his attempts to make us fall. To shake the gates of hell in his face. To really sacrifice everything to God. To offer Him the best sacrifice we can. To offer Him us. To give Him our everything. To put Him first before all else. To show Him our love for Him is sincere and genuine. To show Him that we are really desperate for a revival. To show Him that we are seeking His future in HLF. -kennn 0 comments - Post a Comment He will only move when you move.

Hlfians, i have been thinking for this past 2 weeks about having this revival group. I asked myself: What is the purpose of having this revival group? What do i expect to see having this group? Is this group mean something more, something more than just gathering to praise and worship our Almighty God every meeting, sharing revelations of what God has revealed to us, planing outings after another?I knew the answers to my own questions. The reason why HLF was birth forth is because i love God, i love His people, and i want to share the same desire He has which is to bring the lost souls out there into the Kingdom of God, to carry a sign saying "This is the way to heaven". I expect harvest of the lost souls. I expect us growing into maturity in God as we go forth to sow the seeds to reap a harvest. This group mean something more, it meant that we have to live a life of sacrifice. Not just talking the talk but walking the walk. What do i mean by walking the walk? I'm happy that you guys have came for this 2nd meeting. You guys shared what has God speaked to you, you guys shared the future strategies to win more souls. I see the effort that has put in. But what happens after the meeting? I do not want us to be like a match stick that lighted just for once, on fire just for that moment. I want us to be a burning candle, burning with compassion. When everyone goes back to their homes, will we still be on fire, hungry and desperate? What will we do if we are so on fire with God? We pray. When we pray we allow God to do the work through us, with the guidiance of the Holy Spirit. When we pray we move the heavens and shake hell, we put Satan under our feets from stopping us. Praying is very important. Without praying, how many of you guys know we can do nothing much even though everything seems to plan out well? For prayer is the key to revival, the more we pray, the more God will move in our midst. Today, lets really go back to the House of Prayer. Yes sometimes we dont't feel like praying. But remember this song Nothing is Impossible? It goes: "I'm not gonna live by what i feel.. I'm not gonna live by what i see". If we are going to live by what we feel, our lifes won't be inline with what God has for each of us. We won't be able to maximise to our full potential in our destiny. Kenneth and I attended the Youth Global Meeting. We prayed fervently, we prayed with desperate hearts. And God moved in our hearts, knowing revival is and going to come to past. 2 Chronicles 7:14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. Every one of us are called. But how many of us will say God i want to seek Your face? God wants us to seek His face, not just all the planning. He wants a communion with us. He wants us to experience all that He has for us. How many of us put God first in our list, in our busy schedule? How many of us set our priorties right? Think. To have revival, we have to be prepared to sacrifice the time spend with our boy girl friends, the time spend watching tv, the time spend hanging out with friends and more. If we can't sacrifice, we won't see the harvest. Let us search our hearts. The areas we need to dedicate them to Him. Let us go back to the House of Prayer and back to where we felt God so real in our lifes at that moment. Let us set our hearts right before him. Dedication takes time, effort and consistency. The Bible is very clear when it says that if we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. If we know what we are doing is what is separating us from God, then go back to doing what draws us closer. He is always ready to move. He is waiting, waiting for us to seek His face before He can show us what He has install for HLF. Matt 6:33 (Contemporary English Version) But more than anything else, put God's work first and do what He wants, then the other things will be yours as well. -Flora 0 comments - Post a Comment Let's go!

Colossians 3:14:But above all those things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. Morning HLF! =D Up to this point, we have had our first PM and outing. Praise the Lord! He moved so strongly in us and in our lives. It was a pity most of you guys couldn't make it for both. But nevertheless, we continue to do His work in His name! And we continue to deny the devil his joy! Haha! Upcoming this week, we will be having a meet-up and a PM! For the outing, it will be a meet-up session to catch up and fellowship with our fellow HLFians! It will be a simple dinner and perhaps chill-out somewhere near afterwards. (: Date set to probably this thursday 20th May, night around 6pm, please kindly message me whether everyone can make it. (: For the PM, it will be this saturday 22th May, time yet to be confirmed, but tentatively it will be at Jasper's house, since W212's CG will be held there beforehand. (: This time, this PM will be different and special! I encourage everyone to ask God in faith for a revelation, a Word in season, to speak in our hearts. Each of us will share the sermon and encourage and edify all the members and the group! Expect something great! Message me A.S.A.P. whether you guys can make it for the PM too. (: Cya guys soon! 0 comments - Post a Comment The Greatest Is Love- Pastor Kong's daily devotion.

Posted: 03 May 2010 09:00 AM PDTThere are three things that remain—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (TLB) Love is the first commandment of Jesus Christ. He says, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment” (Matt. 22:37-38). Love is also the new commandment of Jesus Christ: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another” (John 13:34). 1 Corinthians 13 gives us five very compelling reasons why we should love: (1) Without love, all that I say is ineffective (13:1). Words without love are just noise. Love opens up our hearts to each other. It is not enough just to talk a lot without having love. We only listen and respond to loving words. (2) Without love, all that I know is incomplete (13:2). Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up (8:1). It is better to have a right heart than just to have a head start. People really don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. (3) Without love, all that I believe is insufficient (13:2). There is a misconception that being a Christian is just simply believing in certain doctrines. Guess what? Demons themselves believe that Jesus is the Son of God! But that doesn’t regenerate them. (4) Without love, all that I give is insignificant (13:3). People often give for the wrong motives of prestige, power and obligation. Unless you mix your giving with genuine love, your giving really means nothing to the recipient. (5) Without love, all I accomplish is inadequate (13:3). Relationships are more important than accomplishments in life. Success without love is empty. One day, God is going to do an audit on your life. He will not focus on your accomplishments or the size of your bank account. Instead, He will look at your relationships to see how you have lived. The apostle Paul says this over and over again: life minus love equals to zero. There are three other powerful truths about love. Firstly, love is a choice. You can choose to love whether you feel like it or not. Secondly, love is a sacrifice. The first time in literary history when the word “love” was mentioned had to do with Abraham sacrificing his son, Isaac (Gen. 22:2). Thirdly, love is serving people. Whose needs are you meeting today? Whose hurts are you healing today? Whom are you serving and helping right now? 0 comments - Post a Comment Wednesday, May 12, 2010
1 Corinthians 9:19: For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; 20: and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; 21: to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; 22: to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 0 comments - Post a Comment ALL THE BEST;D ♥

Next tuesday on the 29th of June, we'll be giving our friend Ziyuan a birthday surprise she'll never forget! Really hope you guys can make it to help surprise and celebrate it with her! ;D
Here's the supposed plan for now:
She and Flora will have school until 5.30pm. Flora will then bring her to Tampines for 'dinner'. Hehe.
We will meet them at Tampines and she will be brought into a random store (not confirmed which store yet) where she collects a voucher from our own guy at the entrance saying she has won something and is to collect it at the cashier counter. Both she and the cashier will then get confused.
Next stop, we'll bring her to one of the baskers just outside Tampines Mrt and near Cheers. The basker will call her name and sing a happy birthday in front of the whole crowd. We'll sing and cheer too, making her really embarrassed in front of the crowd. haha. This is tentatively plan A (if the guy agrees to work with us.)
Plan B will include Dannon bringing a guitar and PLAYING INSTEAD LOL.
Lastly, we'll bring her to the rooftop of Tampines One or Tampines Mall to officially celebrate her birthday. There'll be cake, fake and real presents, drinks and everything you would find in a party. And of course games!
Lemme know if u guys can make it! Cheers! Confidence!
